The titanic Peglin is controlled by the player throughout the game. They can collect various orbs around the land to dispatch a variety of monsters that can be found nearly everywhere, as well as encounter various events and confront multiple bosses.

They start with 100 health, a satchel to hold orbs in, and are as knowledgeable about the world as the player is.

Unlike common belief the Peglin cannot use every orb and relic and the patch notes confirm that.

Trivia

• According to the developer, "Peglin" is actually a reference to a quote by Sun Tzu, "Peglin.".
• Haglin is also a peglin, as evidenced by the event dialogue
• The disguised nature of the Peglin Chef, and the fact that they can be 'ratted out' to the humans in an event suggests that Peglins have a poor relationship with humans in some way.
• The Peglin is either incredibly brave or incredibly reckless, as they will confront very large and dangerous enemies without any sort of attack plan
