Dodgy Shortcut

Dodgy Shortcut is a relic that was initially made as an April Fool's joke for Sifd's YouTube channel, where it was named Sifd's Shortcut. It cannot be obtained in the game normally and can only be added through using Custom Mode.

The relic adds extra Critical Pegs to the board, but hitting any Critical Pegs causes the Orb to sink to the bottom of the pegboard regardless of its original trajectory.

Strategy

  • Dodgy Shortcut can be used to run a Critical Peg build, but caution should be taken that the Critical Pegs are avoided unless a substantial amount of damage has already been built up.
  • There is a mild strategic purpose using Dodgy Shortcut with the Weighted Chip, as this can be a method of ensuring the Orb exits in one of the 2x slots if a Critical Peg is positioned above it.
  • Betsy's Hedge is a big beneficiary of this relic, as it gains extra damage and you may be inclined to avoid hitting Critical Pegs.
