The Lightning Rod is a unique enemy found in the Castle and Mines that will prevent the player from targeting any other enemy until it has been killed.
It can be seen as a more advanced version of the Bronze Rod.
Strategies
- Bombs and piercing orbs will still damage other enemies, so the player can use those to their advantage
- Getting some bomb relics can help greatly, as can offensive relics.
- Having a high average damage will ensure that the lightning rod gets killed first
Trivia
- Despite being called a "lightning rod", all orbs will damage it first - not just Ball Lightning.
