Ball Lightning is a common orb that zaps additional pegs alongside the one that was hit. It can target any enemy, and critical attacks will strike all enemies in a vertical column.

• Ball Lightning may have low stats, but its damage can stack up quickly with how many pegs it can hit both directly and indirectly. This can make it great for getting Bombs and Refresh Pegs that are in awkward spots or empty the pegboard for certain builds.
• The peg zapping effect does not count towards on-hit effects, such as Powder Collector and Mental Mantle.
• Since Ball Lightning zaps multiple pegs, stat buffs (such as Muscircle, Spinesse, and relics like Power Glove) are more effective on this orb.

Trivia

• Ball lightning is a historically observed phenomenon of a small luminous ball associated with thunderstorms - however, its existence has yet to be proven
