The Slime Boss (or Boss Slime) is a challenging boss that can appear at the end of the Forest. Its board sports the unique slime and slimed pegs.

Unlike other boards, the orb launching point will switch between the left and right side, then move to the middle at the start of the second phase.

Behavior

The Slime Boss will move across the screen at a normal pace and will occasionally throw a projectile at the player, dealing 3 damage each time.

After the Slime Boss reaches the player, it will absorb the player and start dealing 8 damage per turn. The board's launch point changes to the center and no longer moves.

Note: Most of these rely on having good RNG, and as such may not prove as helpful as they sound.

• Getting extra offensive relics and orbs can drastically change the tide of battle. The Bramball can be one of the most valuable orbs to have due to its effect stopping enemies in their tracks.
• Ball Lightning and Multiball can make it easier to reach the bombs on each side
• Try to do a lot of damage (or even kill it) before phase 2, as it deals much more damage and can quickly kill an unprepared player - even if they're close to full health
  • A Doctorb can help with survivability (as can most health relics)
• Due to the amount of slime pegs on the board (and their ability to make orbs fall straight down), it may be advantageous to have an Orbsium due to its ability to register multiple hits on a single peg
• Attempting to hit the bombs on the side of the board (before phase 2) can help deal some damage early on, especially if the player has an Improved Catalyst and/or Perfected Reactant

• According to the developers, its health was 720 due to it being a "round boi" (because circles have 360 degrees, and doubling it made it a better health value for a boss)
