The Gambler event gives the player the option to flip a poker chip or "Invest" with Gamblin.

Winning the flip grants the player the Weighted Chip, but losing comes at the expense of health. The chance of winning is 22%, and the average health loss after winning is 7.

Transcript

You encounter a weathered old Peglin flipping a poker chip through their nimble fingers.

"Do you consider yourself a gambler?"

Flip the chip (-2 HP or +Relic)

(Upon Losing )

You lose the flip and the other Peglin's eyes gleam with mischief as you feel a little weaker.

"Thanks for that, care to flip again?"

(Upon winning)

You win the flip! The other Peglin gives you a wry smile and hands over the chip.

"Thanks for playing, can't wait until next time"
