This section is a Strategy Guide and is written from the subjective view of the playerbase. If you think this section is inaccurate, feel free to update it.
  • It can be very helpful in high-health, single-target fights (such as the Slime Boss and Minotaur) due to it being able to slow down the enemy
    • Bramble stops being useful in these fights when they reach the player, as it will not prevent them from performing their attacks.
  • It can greatly change the tide of battle in larger encounters - especially if the affected enemy is near the enemies' spawn point
    • The Overflow from level 3 is also incredibly helpful in these encounters as it can kill multiple enemies at once and apply Bramble to any survivors.
  • The Bramble effects can be combined with Branch of Ember to also apply the Blind status.
  • The only way to prologue the Bramble status is with the Mask of Sorrow relic.
  • Unless the player intends to use the self-damage, consider relics that reduce the self-damage taken like Gardener's Gloves and Intentional Oboe.

Trivia

  • Its name is a portmanteau of "bramble" and "ball"
  • It was originally called "Bramble Ball" It was renamed after youtuber "Angory" Tom Clark pointed out the missed pun during the closed beta.[citation needed]

  • The player can obtain a random level Bramball from the Strange Tree event in exchange for health. Furthermore, if the player already has the Gardener's Gloves relic, they won't take any damage when collecting the Bramball.
