The Egg is a special orb gained from the strange tree event that heals the player when used, similarly to the Doctorb. It is unique in the fact that it will break if it hits a solid object when thrown, removing itself from the player's inventory in the process. In addition, it cannot be upgraded.

If brought to the Peglin Chef, he will bake a The Cake for the player.

Strategy

This section is a Strategy Guide and is written from the subjective view of the playerbase. If you think this section is inaccurate, feel free to update it.

The main reason for taking the Egg is to give it to the Peglin Chef in the Castle in exchange for The Cake, which will grant +50 max HP. If the player does not encounter the event prior to the boss fight, it can be used as a quick heal in an emergency.
If the Egg exits the pegboard before hitting a solid object, it will return to the player and can be re-used. This can be taken advantage of with slime affected pegs, Defresh Potion and the Slime Pegs during the battle against the Slime Boss.
The healing effect of the Egg can be enhanced through relics that lock in damage, such as Echo Chamber and Safety Net.
The first solid peg that is hit by the Egg will appear to have a yellow slime effect applied to it, but it in fact does nothing. However, it will still activate A Good Slime and provide a +5 upgrade. If the player is in a position where you can remove the Egg from their deck, this can be advantageous in an emergency.
Pegs with Slime Effect are not solid. Therefore, in Peglin and Spinventor, you can heal a large amount by using Splatorb or something.
