Ballectrum is a special orb with Multiball that also grants extra Gold on peg hits. It has no damage values, but is highly effective for generating a lot of money. However, the pegs that it turns into gold Multiballs are completely removed from the pegboard and are not refreshed.

This section is a Strategy Guide and is written from the subjective view of the playerbase. If you think this section is inaccurate, feel free to update it.
  • Ballectrum might have no damage values, but it can be made to deal damage through relics and buffs. With its high-frequency Multiball, it is capable of dealing a lot of damage with enough values. Just be careful that it will be removing pegs from the board over time.
  • The peg removing mechanic can be used to the players advantage if they have Bag of Orange Pegs, as removed pegs will still count towards the relic's damage multiplier.
  • With the rate of peg hits that can be achieved, relics such Popping Corn, Mental Mantle and Infernal Ingot are worth taking.
  • With Ballectrum having no starting power, it may be worth considering relics that have stat debuffs but incredible effects, such as Glorious SuffeRing.
  • Ballectrum and Weighted Chip are a risky combination, since it will either result in extremely high damage from all of the gold multiballs falling into a x2 hole or dealing little to no damage from falling into a x0.5 hole. It is therefore recommended to avoid combining the two.

Notes

  • Ballectrum can be acquired from the Golden Peglin Statue event, where it is described as a "radiant golden orb."
  • The effect is only triggered the first time a peg is hit, in cases where pegs can be hit multiple times in the same shot. For instance, when combined with Gift That Keeps Giving.
  • The name is a portmanteau of "ball" and "electrum" (an alloy of gold and silver).
